Go Ask Alice
After reading Go Ask Alice, I’m inclined to keep a diary again. When I was growing up, it was a natural thing to do. Although, I’m pretty I was more concerned with how to keep it away from my sisters than what I was actually writing in it. Go Ask Alice has inspired me to pull out a journal again. Not because I have any dirty secrets I just have to get down on paper, but because I think there are events happening now I’d like to read about later in my life.
This also begs me to question you, readers and bloggers, why did Alice keep her diary? What purpose did the diary have for her?
Alice kept her diary to know that she still had a life to live with. She was so confused with her life and the one thing she could rely on in her life was her diary. It let her express herself when she needed to let her feelings out. I feel it helped her survived as long as she did and cope with all of her emotions.

| Posted 4 years, 11 months agoI think alice kept her diary as a track of her life for her family. I think she knew that something was going to happen to her someday and she wanted her family to know the truth.
